[This Old Surgeon]

This movie needs some “doctoring”…

This bloody little piece is just that; a bloody little piece. The concept design is really nice and the sound is solid, but the story is redundant and boring. I like blood, as mush as the next weirdo, but blood just for the sake of it, isn’t very interesting. Showing more of the “procedure” would have been nice. Me eyes got tired of staring at the “punch line”. Monty Python are the only entertainers to successfully pull off redundancy, (check out the vomit scene in “The Meaning of Life”) but then, they are incredible writers who know when the joke is over. This piece has much potential; maybe an upgrade is in order. Nice graphics though.

[Headache]

Colorful fun...

For just three days work, you crammed a bunch of talent into this piece. The graphics are bright and colorful and the sound, well, you can’t go wrong with Muppet music. This is a really fun work and nice change of pace from all of the cynical Flash animation running on the net. I loved it.

[The Final Dump]

Potty humor at it's finest...

After watching “Neo-Blender SE” I really needed a laugh. The Final dump took care of that. I love lowbrow humor, and this is as low as it gets. There’s a fine line between good, bad taste and bad, bad taste, and many animator who attempt to walk that line fail. But you walked right into the realm of good, bad taste without skipping a beat. The animation is smooth, the sound is well timed, and the illustration is simple and nicely stylized. If this is just something you were farting (I had to say It.) around with, then I can’t wait to see "Out of this World II".

[Neo-Bender SE]

Matrix in a "Blender"...

I’m great fan of both the Matrix and Futurama, so I was really looking forward to this spoof-combo. But, unfortunately, after viewing Neo-Blender SE, I was really glad when the movie was over. The pacing and animation are just too slow and drawn out. Neo-Blender SE is simply a bland demonstration of 3D vector animation. It has none of the mood of either of The Matrix or Futurama, and humor is nonexistent. If this is the best of the “Blender” series, I’m glad I didn’t blow any time on the others.

[Xiao Xiao No. 3]

Never bring a knife to a "stick" fight....

This movie have been around for a while, but get better with every viewing. An entire class at my school was distracted for hour by this piece. I’ve seen tons of “stick-figure” animation, but none of them can touch the level of action and motion of the work of art. Xiao-Xiao No. 3 is packed with non-stop action, and the moves are incredible. All and all, this is “stick-figure” animation at its finest.

The imagery and stylized use of transitions give this peace a surreal quality. The colors are stunning. Bravo.

[The Little Jamurai]

Sm-o-o-o-o-o-ve...

Man, I would like to have seen more of this piece. I feel a bit jipped because of its length, but this is a nice introduction into the world of the Jamurai. The movie has nice pacing and the dialogue and story are funny, yet serious. This is nice stuff.

Why?

There is know animation, and it's just not funny. Maybe only ThunderCats fans understand this type of humor. Throw this thing in the trash. Please! It's a waste of server space.
