[Space Opera]

In space no one can hear you sing...

"Space Opera" may not be the best looking Flash movie on Newgrounds and the Typing sounds might drive you up the wall, but it has a fecent storyline and that makes it worth viewing. There should be a "Space Opera" upgrade, with voice actors and inproved graphics, if that were to happen this could be a solid flash movie.

What the... This is one of the most pointless creations that I have seen on Newgrounds in a while. First of all, a Flash Trailer is ridiculous; most of the trailers that are uploaded never become actual Flash movies. Trailers are usually a lazy Flash authors full movie in disguise. Secondly, what is this a trailer for? There is no story here, there is no animation other that the bad motion graphics and there is no reason for this to be on Newgrounds. Don’t post lame ass trailers, post completed movies, that’s what people want to see.

[A Typical Day]

A Typical Gay...

"A Typical Day" is about as much fun to view as your aunt Ida's vacation slides of her visits to Florida. The dialog is stiff and stilted and let's face it the story is nonexistant. This is one of those movie that only the creators get. After watching this "movie" I felt dirty.

[Nori Nori Nori]

What,waht,wat!!??!

"Nori,Nori,Nori" Is a cut and paste surrealist nightmare. The unstable hodge-podge of imagery presented to the viewer is amusing but only for a moment. There seems to be an odd message embedded here but I am just too terrified and traumatize to try to decipher it. Though it is evident that much effort and thought was utilized in this movies creation it was all lost in its execution. One can understand nonsense used as a form of artistic statement but “Nori,Nori,Nori” makes a wrong tune somewhere and looses all focus.

[Speed Racer Goodo]

Speed Racer Goodo?

"Speed Racer Goodo" is one of the most incomprehensible flash pieces that I have seen thus far on Newgrounds. It lacks direction in many ways. One, is a storyline, which is critical to any piece, the other is presentation. One should never have to right click a movie in order to play it. I'm rating this movie low because it's so sloppy, and with a file size of almost 4megs It just wasn't worth the time spent to download.

[Monkey Madness Revised]

What a trip...

Monkey Madness is a nice experimental piece. The sound is a bit clicky on the loop but still creates a nice atmosphere for the graphics. I wish it were a bit longer with a few additional "trips" to choose from, maybe even a DJ option to mix random visuals together would be nice as well. I voted 5 for this flick because it needs to stay on Newgrounds as an example of fine experimantal Flash animation. Nice work Colin.

The Color of Envy make me green...

Tight pacing and clever use of musical score make “The Color of Envy” a unique piece of Flash animation. Nice work Clark. I love it.

[freedom awaits]

Hope you feel better...

"Freedom Awaits" is okay, there's not much animation and the whole thing really relies on the soundtrack (Turn the sound down while viewing the movie to see what I mean). The graphics are pretty basic, that's why I have such a problem with "Freedom Awaits"; with graphics so simple ther should be more character animation.

[History of fuck!]

"Fucking" funny...

“History of fuck!” delivers just that. The graphics look lick clip art and is synchronized nicely with the audio track. There really isn’t much more to this piece, but it is funny.
